SECTION 10 – HOW ARE YOUR PAYMENTS PROCESSED?
Our reservation system is hosted by MindBody (“MindBody”) who provides the Company with the online e-commerce platform that allows the Company to accept your reservations. In addition to the other means of collection and storage of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, in the event you book appointments, purchase products or services from us, your data will be shared with and stored by MindBody on its databases and the general MindBody application. Any information stored by MindBody is stored on a secure server behind a firewall.
Payments through the MindBody application:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then MindBody will store your credit card data and such data is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”). Any purchase transaction data shared with MindBody is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After the purchase is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All MindBody direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
